Saved is not the same as visited
These are places collected for possible future journeys. They do not appear on the journal’s visited map unless a separate Gander Goose story has been published from photographs or field notes.
How to use this collection
Search a place name or address, narrow the list by doodle theme, then open the exact card in Google Maps. Duplicate pins and unnamed saved coordinates are retained so the local index stays faithful to the shared source list.

Each place receives a compact SVG drawing assembled from its likely theme—heritage, sacred architecture, nature, coast, culture, food, or another travel cue—plus a deterministic hand-drawn variation. No Google Maps imagery is copied.

The first 72 cards load immediately; filters always search the complete collection. More cards can be revealed in lightweight batches without downloading a separate image for every doodle.

A local snapshot of a living list
This collection was imported from the public shared list on 28 Jul 2026. Place names, addresses, deleted pins, and list membership can change in Google Maps; rerun the project’s update script to refresh the snapshot.
Google Maps remains the source of current place records and map context. This page adds original organisation and SVG drawings only; it is not a booking service, endorsement, or claim of a visit.
